Hawksbill Turtle

SKU: P007 Category:

Dive experiences can be extremely amazing like the one Alan had with this particular turtle.  Alan came upon this Hawksbill Turtle as the animal began feeding on another animal called a sea hare. When the turtle realized no one was going to take his food away from him, he allowed Alan to share his space for over 15 minutes. The turtle got so close to him that his beak actually bumped the camera twice!  This encounter allowed Alan to capture a huge number of images for his catalog.  A Hawksbill Turtle sighting is pretty rare, and this entire experience as rare as can be.
