The ocean holds an abundance of creatures both great and very small in size.  This very shy and very small Golden Longsnout Seahorse was found amongst some orange sponges as you can see in the original oil painting here.  The artist found him while diving in a world renowned dive spot in Riviera Beach, Florida, in waters of no more than 15 feet, known as  the Blue Heron Bridge Dive Site. At this very shallow site, every kind of animal imaginable, from Frog Fish and Octopus to Sharp-tail Eels and Seahorse can be found.
