Description

Alan’s paintings all show marine wildlife in their natural environment, in around ocean reefs.  For this piece he selected as his subject the White Marlin, which is found in open waters.  This gave Alan the opportunity to have a go at an entirely new area for him, that being painting pelagic scenes, or open blue waters.  The White Marlin Is quite strikingly beautiful with the light refracting off its back, and the natural purples that seem to come out while they’re hunting, as he depicted in this scene.  White Marlin are found in the Atlantic Ocean,  the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea and the Western Mediterranean Sea too. This Original Oil Painting Is Available For Purchase
